"Kristina Harvey, curator, producer, consultant at blekksprut1, creative director of factory light festival
Kristina works with various international and local light art productions and events. She has education and experience in live performance as a dancer/choreographer, yoga teacher and giving unique concerts using gongs, her voice and a range of percussion instruments. With her broad experience and education in arts/social sciences and teaching from Norway and Australia, dance, yoga and yoga therapy, she brings an artistic, idealistic and academic point of view to her work with art projects and events. Her strengths are developing interesting concepts and ideas for new art pieces, unique events and collaborative art projects. Kristina loves curating, connecting people and creating interdisciplinary projects and teams.
Through her work with factory light festival, her wish/aim is for people from all ages and backgrounds to enjoy art. Art is communication, and important for people's identity and mental health.
Kristina is passionate about nature, and want to bring environmental issues and UN's sustainable goals to people's attention through art. Her work with the Creative Europe project, exploring the topic of displacement caused by climate change at Svalbard, is close to her heart.
